2021-01-14 Feature Story Pakistan’s rise to zero. At a busy toll plaza in Kohat, Pakistan, a three-member vaccination team is working fast. Outfitted in blue Rotary vests and flanked by armed military personnel, Rotary vaccinators wade through a sea of traffic to find any child who hasn’t received the polio vaccine. Rotary is a global network of 1.2 million neighbors, friends, leaders, and problem-solvers who see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change – across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves.
